23 years of riding

and 15 years of training!

Each horse receives a complete foundation that prepares them to move forward in any direction.

Ground work, desensitization and giving to pressure, creates a basic platform that facilitates a smooth transition into riding or learning new skills. While under saddle horses are taught to practice lateral movement, body control and collection. Once a horse is proficient in these skill sets, advanced techniques may be tailored to a chosen discipline.

An optional weekly lesson is included for all horses in full time training.

MNC Performance Horses is focused on producing quality horse and rider teams by optimizing communication between horse and rider.

Our goal is to aid each horse and rider team in reaching their full potential by utilizing a variety of   horsemanship techniques. From the start we teach all riders a comprehensive skill set ranging from basic care, and ground work to advanced riding or training techniques.

Full time training starts at $400 / month (minimum of 4 contacts per week). Part time training is available starting at $200 / month (two contacts per week). Customized training plans are available, please call for a quote.

About Marie

Marie has been riding horses since the age of three. At the age of eleven she began volunteering in exchange for lessons, and her passion for horses was ignited. She began competing shortly after, and in her first year of competition on a local show circuit, she rode a green horse she started training to a year end reserve championship, and at that point she was hooked.

Over the course of the next eight years, Marie continued to compete and train her own horses and earn multiple champion and reserve champion titles in various disciplines. As she entered college, Marie sold her personal horse and focused on riding and training with numerous trainers, many of which hold world championship titles in various disciplines from Working Hunter to Reining. Close to the end of her college career, Marie purchased another horse, and discovered her love for barrel racing.

After school Marie was hired by Jefferson county, where she helped manage and plan rodeo, 4-H and other agricultural events. After close to two years with Jefferson County, Marie realized her true passion still lied with horses and she decided to ride and train full time.

While riding full time Marie has continued to further her knowledge by taking lessons and participating in multiple clinics with nationally recognized trainers such as Michele McLeod and Ron Ralls. In her first year of competing in barrel racing, she has ridden her current horse, GKP Doc a Bee, to multiple year end titles and over $1500 in winnings. Marie also has other young horses that she starts and trains, to keep her horsemanship skills polished.

Today, you can find Marie at MNC Farm teaching and training or at a barrel race coaching students, competing or seasoning young horses. To speak with her today, call 303.425.8902 or email mncfarm@outlook.com.
